Peperomia 'Green Bubble' is a cultivar of the Peperomia genus, which originates from tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America. The species within this genus are commonly found growing as epiphytes or ground cover in the understory of rainforests, where they thrive in humid, shaded environments.
Water:
Peperomia 'Green Bubble' prefers to be watered when the top 2.5 cm of soil feels dry. Its thick, succulent-like leaves store water, allowing it to tolerate brief periods of dryness better than overwatering. Ensure the pot has good drainage, and avoid letting the plant sit in water to prevent root rot. Watering should be reduced during the winter months when the plant’s growth naturally slows.
Light:
This Peperomia thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Humidity:
Peperomia 'Green Bubble' prefers moderate humidity levels, around 50-60%. Its small size also makes it suitable for terrarium growth, where humidity can be more easily controlled.
Temperature:
This plant does best in temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. It should be kept away from draughts and protected from temperatures below 15°C, as cold can cause the plant to suffer. Stable, warm conditions will help maintain its health and promote consistent growth.
