'Silver' for the metallic sheen its large, broadly heart-shaped leaves develop in good indirect light. It grows via horizontal rhizome rather than climbing, producing progressively larger leaves with deeply impressed primary venation and a rich deep green surface. 

• Light: Bright indirect light supports the best leaf size, deepest vein definition, and most vivid silvery sheen. Tolerates moderate light but produces smaller leaves in dimmer conditions.

• Soil: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix rich in organic matter — orchid bark, coco coir, and perlite; as a terrestrial, slightly more moisture-retentive than strictly epiphytic species.

• Temperature/Humidity: Warm temperatures between 65-80°F; humidity of 60-80% supports the best leaf quality. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 60°F.

• Watering: Allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings but do not allow to dry out completely. Water thoroughly and drain fully; never waterlog.

• Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4 weeks during active growth; supplement with calcium and magnesium for the best leaf quality and vein definition. Reduce in winter.
