Introducing the newly innovated Donabe "clay pot," featuring an advanced ceramic coating for enhanced ease of use and care. The ceramic coating on the inner glass-glazed surface provides superior water repellency, prevents water absorption, and helps avoid burning the bottom, making cleaning a breeze. Unlike metal, this clay pot retains heat better, allowing you to enjoy warm meals at the table for longer. Must have the perfect blend of tradition and innovation with this premium Donabe pot.
During colder seasons, friends and family gather around the Donabe to enjoy a warming meal such as a Japanese hotpot, which combines a variety of meat, seafood, vegetables, tofu, and other ingredients in a broth cooked on a tabletop portable gas stove. But they can also be used to cook rice or any one-pot meal.

Seasoning
Seasoning seals the porous ceramic hot pot and prevents liquid leakage. Please follow the instructions below to season before using.
- Fill your hot pot with the water and add 20g of wheat.
- Bring it to a boil, and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- When the liquid cools to room temperature, discard the water, and wipe the inside clean.
- Now your hot pot is ready!
Cautions
- Make sure that the exterior is completely dry before placing it over the fire
- Don't heat the pot when it is empty (always have liquid in the pot)
- Cool down the pot completely before running cold water over it
- It's best not to use detergent to wash the pot but if you do, use a minimal amount
- Please use a soft sponge and do not use tawashi brushes or steel sponges
- Don't leave the pot soaking in water for more than a couple of hours
- Don't touch a heated pot with your bare hands, use a towel or pot holders
