Terracotta Pot – Classic Clay Planter with Drainage (Ø 8 × H 8.5 cm)

This unglazed terracotta pot is a simple, functional container for herbs, succulents, cacti and small houseplants. With a diameter of 8 cm and height of 8.5 cm it fits neatly on windowsills, shelves and desks.

Product overview

  • Breathable material: porous clay allows slow evaporation through the pot wall.
  • Built-in drainage hole: helps excess water escape and reduces the risk of root rot.
  • Stable temperature: clay helps moderate quick temperature swings, especially on bright windowsills or near drafts.
  • Neutral look: the warm, earthy tone suits almost any plant and indoor.

Where it fits best

  • Succulents and cacti that prefer to dry quickly between waterings.
  • Herbs and small houseplants in bright windows.
  • Starter pots for offsets and cuttings before moving to larger planters.

Use this classic terracotta pot for simple, breathable containers that support healthy roots and keep their practical appeal for years.

More to know

Use it as an outer pot with a nursery pot inside, and protect shelves or sills from water marks.

If you are between two sizes, measure the nursery pot rim and allow a little clearance so the inner pot lifts out easily.

Quick notes

  • After watering, wipe the pot and surface if any water has overflowed.
  • Use felt pads or a tray on delicate wood or lacquer.
  • Indoor use is recommended unless the listing notes outdoor suitability.

Very basic
Format: Paperback
The idea of the book is to be condensed and concise but there is too much information that should be expanded on that is not. The writers of this book seem to think students using the book have a strong pediatric background but for FNPs that isn’t always the case. I found myself having to do research outside of the book to understand the chapters. Also there were many typos and mislabeled diagrams.

Poorly written
Format: Paperback
I had to get this for my class. I wish I had a different textbook because it is poorly written, does not explain details, hard to follow the sentences in a certain sections, A LOT of typos (totally misspelled name of the disease). I don't think this is very good textbook material.
