Discover the fun and flavor of homegrown popcorn with the Popcorn Seed Collection from Survival Garden Seeds. This curated set features two distinct, easy-to-grow dwarf popcorn varieties—Strawberry Popcorn and Japanese Hulless Popcorn—each offering unique color, texture, and taste. Perfect for gardeners who love variety, creative décor, and delicious homemade snacks.

What’s Inside the Popcorn Seed Collection:

  • Strawberry Popcorn – Charming & Decorative
This compact popcorn variety produces miniature, cone-shaped ears covered in deep red kernels that resemble strawberries. These striking ears make beautiful autumn decorations, craft accents, or edible gifts. When popped, they yield crisp, flavorful popcorn that’s as delightful to eat as it is to grow.
  • Japanese Hulless Popcorn – Tender & Nearly Hull-Free
favorite for home gardeners, this dwarf 4–5' tall popcorn produces 2–3 short ears per stalk. The kernels pop into soft, white popcorn with minimal hulls—ideal for those who prefer a light, tender bite. Reliable yields and manageable plant size make it a top choice for small spaces or raised beds.

Survival Seed Vault Quality
Each seed pack is designed for both immediate planting and long-term storage. Keep your seeds in a cool, dark, and dry location to maintain viability and be ready to grow anytime.

Beautiful, Informative Packaging
Each variety comes in an individual paper packet featuring detailed planting instructions, helpful growing tips, and guidance for seed saving. Attractive enough to gift or display, these packets also make row-marking easy in your garden.

Why Gardeners Love This Collection:

  • Two unique popcorn varieties for eating or decorating.
  • Compact growth—great for home gardens and containers.
  • High-quality, USA-grown seeds with strong germination.
  • Ideal for self-sufficiency or emergency preparedness.
  • Long storage life when kept in proper conditions.

How to Grow:

  • Plant seeds outdoors in full sun after the last frost.
  • Sow 1 inch deep and 6–8 inches apart, with 24–30 inches between rows.
  • Keep soil evenly moist until germination.
  • Allow ears to fully dry on the stalk before harvesting for best popping results.

Harvest & Use:
Once kernels are hard and dry, remove from cobs and store in airtight containers. Use for fresh-popped snacks, autumn centerpieces, or as striking natural décor

Greatest toy for GSD!
My German Shepherd LOVES LOVES LOVES this thing. I’ve purchased about 5 of them, not because they don’t last (they do), but so we can have them everywhere (one in each car, the backyard, the front yard, the house…). The string makes them so easy to throw far and you don’t have to handle a sloppy foamy tennis ball. And it’s great for playing a little tug. All in all, a winner of a product!

Strong ball for Strong chewer!
Perfect Size. This foster pitbull likes to tear stuff up, this ball has not ended up in the garbage like so many others have.

Good Toy Reward for Training
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
A great non-food reward for dog training and play! It’s the perfect size for my German Shepherd and the tie makes it easy to carry and play tug. It’s also been very durable for her sharp teeth!

Didn’t last long
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
One of my puppies chewed the rope apart within an hour. They still have one of the balls and play with it often.

Good for playing tug of war, but better with a knotted handle
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
Strong and durable rope ball. I use it to play tug with my Doberman Pinscher -- at least until she decides that she's taking it, then she does!! The size is good, list of price is a good value for two, and my dog has a lot of fun with it. As you can see in the picture, there was not a knotted handle at the end. I was never a boy scout and don't know my knots and so anything I try to tie comes apart when we start playing. It would be nice if it came as it looked in the listing: with a knotted loop at the end.
