The Sichuanese do not call Sichuan pepper "Sichuan pepper." They call it hua jiao, which means flower pepper, and when you see a perfect specimen of the numbing spice you understand why. While most varieties of Sichuan pepper and its cousins grown throughout Asia have small seed pods that don't fully open and often retain their seeds, the Sichuan pepper grown and/or preferred in Sichuan fully opens into heart-shaped sections for the appearance of a six-petaled flower.

Not only are these "flowering" Sichuan pepper pods more likely to dislodge their gritty black seeds, they are significantly larger, more fragrant and more potent. The da hong pao variety, which means big red robe, is, as the name suggests, particularly red and large. And this special grade da hong pao has been hand-sorted to include a high percentage of six- and four-petal flowers, which is why we have named it Flower Pepper.

When the visual is less important, for example when the peppercorns will be ground, we carry a top grade Da Hong Pao that is similarly seed-free.

Taste-wise, da hong pao is warm and woodsy, in contrast to the bright, floral overtones of our other red Sichuan pepper, Qingxi Tribute Pepper

Flower pepper has almost no seeds, twigs or thorns, which, if you've ever tried sorting Sichuan pepper, you know is quite at feat. That is because they are machine-sorted once and then hand-sorted twice, as only the top grades are. (See the photo above of a lowest-grade supermarket Sichuan pepper for comparison.) Like our other varieties, it has not undergone the once-required heat-treatment process that for so long robbed Sichuan pepper of some of its punch in the U.S.

Use these when you want to wow both the tastebuds and the eyes.

    Didn't Notice Difference
The taste is actually pretty good, honestly it's more like a treat than a supplement... but I haven't noticed any significant changes after going through the entire bottle. They didn't cause any upset stomach or side effects, which is a plus, but the overall benefits feel negligible.

    GREAT CONCEPT AND DESIGN
I bought these Feminine Balance Gummies because I was intrigued by the approach that was utilized. For me, I have been involved with lactobacillus formulas and probiotics with incorporating yogurt (the really healthy kind not the ones with a lot of advertising) to deal with yeast overgrowth. Typically I am experiencing a problem because I am consuming too much sugary foods (causing the body's resources to be depleted) or because I have taken a course of antibotics which killed both the good and bad bacteria in the body and now needs replenished. So, my first impression was the intrigued by the use of Pineapple as a part of the formulation, which is unusual but a good choice nonetheless because it is very beneficial for digestion and also for pain reduction. I liked the taste of the gummy, it tasted like Pineapple candy. The inclusion of Vitamin C seemed a bit of a stretch and is included to enhance the immune function. There are lactobacillus strains but the manufacturer has kept the strains used as a proprietary secret - which I find a bit frustrating as a consumer. Whatever it is, there is a billion of them (is this per gummie?). The manufacturer does support the use of vegan only products, it is also "clean" Halal, it is gluten free and allergen free. So, it appears they have carefully considered the inclusion of each ingredient for benefit. So here is the real test, yes, I have had the desired outcome by improving my "lady garden" and this is a very viable product in my opinion. I would recommend it to others.

    They are hard to chew
Gummies are old and hard, still tried them cause I want a fantastic kitty and it actually did the opposite. It’s been itchy and irritated with every that comes in contact with it. I never had a problem down there but now I do. It’s a no go for me.

Tasty, Easy‑to‑Take Gummies for Daily Feminine Balance Support
I picked these up because I wanted a simple, vegan option to support pH balance and overall feminine wellness, and these gummies have been really easy to add into my routine. The Hawaiian pineapple flavor is surprisingly good—sweet without being artificial—and the texture is soft and easy to chew. I like that they combine multiple areas of support in one: healthy odor, flora balance, and immune support. It makes them feel like a well‑rounded daily supplement instead of juggling multiple bottles. They’re also non‑GMO and vegan, which is a big plus if you’re trying to keep your routine clean.

Tastes Great, But More General Wellness Than Targeted Feminine Support
I tend to prefer gummies over capsules whenever possible, so these Yalei 4-in-1 Nuora Feminine Balance Gummies caught my attention as a potential replacement for my usual women’s probiotic. The bottle contains 60 gummies (30 servings), with a formula centered around vitamin C, pineapple fruit powder, and Bacillus coagulans (1 billion CFU). The ingredient list is clean and clearly labeled, and I appreciated that it’s free from common allergens like soy, dairy, gluten, and tree nuts. The outer and inner tamper seals were intact. The manufacturing and expiration dates were also easy to read, which is something I always look for with supplements. Taste-wise, these are genuinely enjoyable. The pineapple flavor is pleasant, not overly artificial, and there’s no lingering aftertaste. The texture is firm without being sticky, which makes them easy to take daily. Honestly, these fall into that category where it’s tempting to eat more than the serving size. Where things became more nuanced for me was performance. I switched from a more targeted women’s probiotic that included specific Lactobacillus strains and additional D-mannose and cranberry support ingredients. Within about two weeks of making the swap, I experienced a UTI flare-up, which led me to go back to my previous formula. That experience made the difference in formulation stand out. My prior supplement included strains commonly associated with vaginal microbiome support along with additional complementary ingredients, whereas this product uses a single Bacillus-based probiotic strain. From my experience, this felt more like a general wellness probiotic gummy rather than something formulated for more targeted feminine health concerns. That doesn’t make it a bad product–it just depends on what you’re looking for. If your goal is a simple, good-tasting daily probiotic with light supportive ingredients, this fits that role well. If you’re specifically trying to maintain balance in more sensitive or recurring situations, you may want something more specialized. The brand also includes details like GMP manufacturing claims and batch testing which adds a layer of reassurance, though it does appear to be a newer brand. At its current lower price point, I do think it offers decent value for a general-use gummy. For me personally, though, I’ll be sticking with a more targeted formula moving forward.
