Dracaena warneckii is a species is known for its sword-like green leaves that are rigid and sharply pointed. Each gray-green leaf is striped with white or green thereby creating a dazzling effect.

Origin: Madagascar, Mauritius.

Botanical name: Dracaena Deremensis 'Warneckii'.

Family: Asparagaceae.

Suitable: Indoor / Outdoor (Shade)

Pet Friendly: Mildly toxic. The plant can be toxic to dogs and cats if the leaves are ingested in large amounts.

Water: Low. Allow top of soil to dry before watering.

Light: Indirect Sun / Partial Shade. Direct sun will burn leaves.

Temperature: 18° - 32°C. Ideal warm temperatures.

Humidity: Medium / High. 50 - 70%. Mist leaves once a week.

Soil: Good drainage potting mix. 6.0 - 6.5 ph.

Fertilizer: Optional, once a month in spring & summer.

I was using the lotion version of this for about a year, then went to the balm for more hydration. However, it seems to be breaking me out. I think because it's spring, im not needing as much occlusion as i did during winter. I'm gonna go back to the lotion formula, then pick this up again next winter. It is a little hard to spread, but I spray the avene mineral water on, let it dry slightly, and press the balm into my skin when its still wet. That helps thin the balm just enough to rub in. Otherwise, it can actually feel kind of rough!
