This shirt was purchased to be worn for tennis during our hot, August days in Texas. It is very lightweight and exceptionally soft. The color is "white," but it is more of a light cream color. I did not give it five stars because it came out of a gentle washing and light drying very wrinkled, which was a big disappointment. I was hoping for Wash & Wear, but I had to steam it to get out the wrinkles. Also - it's almost too sheer ... I will probably wear a colored bra underneath it with a matching colored tennis skirt to look purposefully coordinated. While I am not familiar with yoga, Pilates, or gym attire, I would imagine that this shirt would be perfect for these types of exercise. I ordered the Medium (instead of the Large, which was suggested for me by Amazon). The Medium fit is perfect - it falls gracefully and is not tight anywhere - the large would have been too big.
