Best started about two months before your last frost in pots.  Place seed on surface of soil and lightly dusr with sand or vermiculite and expose to light.  Once to a height of 2", and after your last freeze, transplant to your garden.  You can also direct seed these two weeks before your last frost.  As above you want to lightly cover them a light dusting of peat in your garden bed.

These seeds are very tiny and it can be helpful to mix your seeds with some fine sand and distribute using a small shaker (like a clean spice container from your kitchen) to avoid clumping your seeds together.  If using this method you don't need to top your seeds with additional sand or vermiculite.  In the garden use this same method but very lightly dust with peat.
