Bright, indirect light is ideal for fastest growth and leaf splitting. It can tolerate medium or even low light, but growth will slow, and leaves may remain smaller and less fenestrated.
Water regularly, allowing the top 1-3 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. The soil should be kept slightly moist but never soggy. Reduce watering in winter.
