How to Grow

The Madagascar Palm thrives in bright, direct sunlight, thriving on the warmth and light that mimic its native, arid landscapes. It requires a well-draining soil mix, preferably one formulated for cacti or succulents, and pots that facilitate proper drainage. Perfectly suited for USDA zones 9-11, this plant marries resilience with a dramatic, exotic presence.

Sizing

Introducing our premium selection: the "Grower's Pick." This standout choice represents the pinnacle of what we offer in Madagascar Palms, featuring the most statuesque and vigorous specimens available for delivery. Each plant chosen as a "Grower’s Pick" is distinguished by its significant maturity, ensuring a well-established root system that supports superior growth and robust vitality.

Care Tips

Madagascar Palms require minimal water, allowing the soil to fully dry between watering sessions to prevent root rot. This plant's care regimen echoes its natural preference for dry, sunny climates, requiring less frequent watering than more typical houseplants. Despite its hardy nature, providing it with enough sunlight and warmth during its growing season is crucial for its health and beauty.

Uses

With its unique form and architectural beauty, the Madagascar Palm is an excellent choice for adding an element of dramatic flair to living spaces, offices, or protected outdoor areas. Its distinct appearance complements modern, desert, or tropical-themed decor, making it a versatile option for various styling preferences.

Planting Tips

When potting the Madagascar Palm, choosing a container with adequate drainage is essential. Incorporating perlite or coarse sand into the potting mix can improve drainage and promote healthy growth. Shielding the plant from the harshest midday sun will prevent damage to the leaves, ensuring the plant remains a stunning focal point.

Maintenance

Though low-maintenance, periodic cleaning of the leaves and the removal of any dead or damaged foliage will keep the Madagascar Palm looking its best. Its care routine is straightforward, emphasizing the importance of light and minimal water to mimic its natural habitat.

Pests and Diseases

Keep an eye out for common pests such as spider mites and mealybugs, treating any infestations with insecticidal soaps or neem oil. Proper ventilation and avoiding overwatering are critical to preventing fungal diseases and ensuring the health of your Madagascar Palm.

Note: While stunningly beautiful, the Madagascar Palm contains toxins and sharp spines that can be harmful if ingested or improperly handled. It is wise to place it out of reach of pets and young children as a safety precaution.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
