It's applied as a spray and starts to work on contact as the ingredients are translocated throughout the plant.

Where to Use Trimec Herbicide
Use Trimec 1000 Low-Odor Broadleaf Herbicide in most residential areas to kill tough weeds without the lingering smell. It can be applied on golf course fairways and roughs, as well as most sports turf. Use it to kill weeds on commercial properties, sod farms and other non-crop turf areas.
