Few people can resist the mesmerizing foliage of the Prayer Plant, with its curved reddish segments and layered hues of green. And neither should you! Coming straight from the Brazilian Rainforest, this beautiful plant companion will instantly become a welcomed member of your own home.

Prayer Plant received its name from its daily habit of folding up its leaves at night 'to pray'. Just another one of its quirky attributes. Place Maranta in a well-lit space, in a neutral coloured pot, and you've got yourself a statement plant if there ever was one!

They tend to grow flat and outwards, best appreciated from above.

Please note: Marantha are pet and human safe, but to look their best prefer to be out of reach of curious critters.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to keep your Prayer Plant healthy and happy.

Water: Keep soil evenly moist and do not let it dry out. Be careful however not to overwater. 
Light: Medium indirect light to prevent the foliage from fading
Humidity: Medium to high humidity is important, best placed on a pebble tray.
Fertilize: Balanced Liquid Fertilizer every 2 weeks

However, for routine baking, storage, and serving—especially when you plan to toss the pan afterward—the cost savings make a lot of sense. - Doubling them for heavier recipes is a simple workaround that maintains stability while still keeping the overall cost lower than buying thicker single-use pans.
