I have purchased Thorne’s Creatine before and continue to find it to be a high-quality supplement. The most immediate observation compared to other brands is the texture; the powder is ground a bit finer than standard creatine monohydrate. While this doesn't necessarily change the efficacy, it makes the powder less bulky and the single packets much easier to pack into smaller containers for transport. Also, despite the finer consistency, don't expect the creatine to dissolve fully.
This version, individually packaged 5g servings, is particularly helpful for my frequent work travel, as it is easier to manage on the go. It remains unflavored and mixes as expected with grit. Since it is NSF Certified for Sport, I have extra peace of mind regarding the purity and label accuracy. Overall, it is a reliable, professional-grade option that is well-suited for someone who needs a portable and consistent supplement.

A great supplement for daily use

I put two scoops in my coffee daily and can feel the benefits related to muscle recovery and brain fog - the two main reasons that I take this supplement in the first place. I only wish I had tried this sooner!

I don't write many reviews, especially for supplements, which are often overhyped by influencers, and results can seem so subjective. I decided to try creatine after following Dr. Louisa Nicola, who advocates it for physical and cognitive health.
Late 50s, post-menopause, diagnosed with pre-osteoporosis, have always been pretty active and a healthy weight, but started to get serious about strength training about 15 months ago. Some moderate improvements in what I could lift, but not as much as I'd hoped. I was getting discouraged.
Six weeks ago, I started this creatine (1 scoop daily), and the past few weeks, it's like a switch has flipped. I've been able to increase my weights, my strength is suddenly improving (especially in my core/back, which in turn improves my balance and flexibility), and I'm seeing the tiniest bit of definition starting to show in my shoulders, back, and abs. For an ectomorph body type (long, lean, low muscle mass, hard gainer), it's been amazing.
The only thing I've changed in my diet and activity is adding this supplement. I wish I had tried this a year ago when I first bought it then shoved it to the back of my cupboard. At that time, I was a little freaked out when I read that it can cause water retention. I haven't had that at all, and I haven't had any digestive issues. Mixed with plenty of water, it's tasteless and easy to fit into my day.
I'm also intrigued by the cognitive protection it can potentially provide (again, as stated by Dr. Nicoloa). Alzheimer's runs in my family, and I'm doing everything I can to hopefully prevent it.

Work great, no morning groggy, made in USA
Flavor Name: Peppermint
These make me sleep like a baby! I am 52 and often could not turn my brain off to go to sleep or stay asleep at night. About 30-45 minutes after taking these my head hits the pillow and I’m out! I take 3 tablets / 15 mg. No groggy feeling in the morning. My previous experience with melatonin had been gummies - 10-12 mg and did not work as well. Taste was also inconsistent. These are a nice peppermint, like the circle-O candies we ate as a kid. A little chalky but not bad. They don’t dissolve as fast as I thought but directions say ok to chew so then they dissolve very quickly. I also like that company is fully USA for development and manufacture. Many of gummies are not. The tablet format is also very convenient to pack for travel. I have not tried full pill format by any manufacturer.
