Vintage 1930s 1940s Romantic Cut-out Back Nightgown Dress

Date: 1940's
Fits like: Probably best for size medium but fits well on a small. This garment isn't intended to be tight in any spot and drapes to fit. It has no closures so must be able to be pulled on over the head. Shown unpinned on a size 6 model.
Color: White with cream lace
Fabric: Rayon crepe with cotton lace trim.
Label: Alida, the richy clad. Size 38.

Features: This romantic dress is constructed of a semi-sheer, light crepe fabric with a wonderful drape. It has a deep V shaped open back that goes most of the way down to the waist. It was worn here with a slip but I think it would be lovely with a skirt slip and a cute bralette. The fabric in front is gathered at the bodice, which gives the area a delicate and feminine look.  This dress has long sleeves and a full, midi length skirt. While this was originally intended to be a nightgown I think it would be lovely worn out as a dress. 

Condition: In very good vintage condition. It is clean with no holes or stains to note.
