Featuring:  

Relaxed-fit top and dress at the shoulder, bust, waist, and hips, designed for woven fabrics. Features a yoke-style V-neckline with integrated darts. The paneled front includes a slightly gathered center panel. Optional inseam pockets and waist ties for adjustable fit. Can be made sleeveless, with built-in cap sleeves, or with short, 3/4, or long sleeves that are lightly gathered at the sleeve head and hem, finished with bands. Available in A〝B, C〝D, and E〝F cup sizes. The neckline requires no closures, as the opening is wide enough to slip comfortably over the head.

The pattern offers the following options:

View A - above the knee / knee length dress with short/3/4/long sleeves

View B - above the knee / knee length dress with built-in cap sleeves and waistline ties

View C - a sleeveless top

This pattern is designed for woven fabrics.

Techniques to master: topstitching, understitching, setting in sleeves, hemming, finishing facing

The pdf pattern comes in REGULAR, PETITE and TALL with sizes from US0-US30

DIFFICULTY

The pdf pattern is a beginner (2-3/10)  level and moderately easy to sew.
Takes 3-4 hours to finish (time may vary depending on your skills, equipment and supplies).

FABRIC

Medium weight woven fabrics like soft canvas, linen blends, duck, suiting, medium weight linen, light to medium weight denims and similar. For a more fluid silhouette, choose well draping fabrics (like rayon challis), for more structured - use cotton, linen blends, canvas.

50/60" / 140-160 cm 

For the total yardage, please sum up the required fabric for your options. The yardage is given for both directional and non directional fabric. See cutting layout for more details.

Armhole binding: 
US0-US30 - 0.45 m / 1/2 yard (for cutting on bias, can be any lightweight fabric) or use a pre-made binding purchased from a shop.

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
