This enhanced version is ideal for managing moderate to highly exuding wounds and is approved for the same uses as the original Aquacel Ag+ dressing.
Aquacel Ag+ Silver Extra is designed with two-dimensional strengthening fibres integrated into the dressing. Although these fibres are made from the same base material as the standard single layer Hydrofiber Technology, they do not gel upon contact with fluid. Instead, they retain their structure and become surrounded by the gel, providing added strength and facilitating easy removal of the dressing.
