The Raw Denim Rancher: American Made Raw Denim Jacket

Meet The Raw Denim Rancher, our classic men's jean jacket. This is not just outerwear; it’s a canvas for your life. Proudly Made in USA, this jacket is "built to tell your story,"  beginning life as a stiff, dark indigo raw denim jacket  and transforming with every wear.

The beauty of a raw denim jacket  is the break-in  process. Cut from dark, "untreated indigo,"  the 'Rancher' is structured and "stiff,"  designed to soften and mold to your body over time. This process creates unique "raw denim jacket fades". No two will ever age alike. This is your story, written in indigo.

This is not just another denim jacket raw. This is a testament to American craftsmanship. Like our world-renowned bespoke jeans, every Raw Denim Rancher is cut and sewn by hand in our Tupelo, Mississippi workshop. It's built "with the same precision and craftsmanship as our jeans,"  ensuring a level of quality and durability that mass-market jackets cannot match. This is the new standard in American-made outerwear.

Designed for versatility, this unlined  men's raw denim jacket  is the perfect layering piece. Its "unlined"  design, like our Waxed Canvas Rancher, makes it a durable, "wind resistant"  outer layer for fall and spring, and it "easily layers"  over heavy shirts for colder weather. It’s built to be broken in, lived in, and passed down.

Essential To Read Before the Class
Format: Paperback
This book provides a good overview of what you'll need to know for your AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (SPI) course and assessment. If you plan to take that course this book is a no-brainer. You just have to buy it and read it. There are a few shortcomings: * The photos of how to tie the knots skip a lot and it is impossible to learn the knots from the book. * The photos of what not to do should be clearly labeled with a red cross bar or WRONG overlay on the photo. If you flip causally through the book and look at the photos some very wrong stuff is there and you have to read the text to know that it is not recommended. * The religious debate on anchor systems rages on. Should you set up a Joshua Tree System with Tether or a Backside System? I realize the AMGA doesn't want to pick sides and will say either is acceptable, but the book doesn't even try to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various anchor systems.

Format: Paperback
this book will get you ready for the course, but there is a lot to learn outside of the book as well. Training and time is the only way to become truly proficient at the skills out lined in this book. over all good book, quality pictures.

Great for semi-experienced looking to build on knowledge.
Format: Paperback
Fantastic instructional manual if you already have some basic knowledge of anchors, ropework and climbing technique. It is written as an instructional manual for climbers looking to turn into guides so if you're brand new this probably isn't the best option for you.
